The company’s latest EdgeWise 5.7 enables users to automatically extract pipe elements from mobile and unified scan data to create intelligent as-built models faster and more accurately.

More Flexible and Complete As-Built Modeling
The new release makes it easy for users to model elements from either terrestrial or mobile scan data using EdgeWise’s standard automated and semi-automated extraction tools. Sharing a common modeling process, users have the flexibility to switch between scan data types to get a significant head start on their modeling without learning new workflows.
Faster, More Tailored Modeling
EdgeWise 5.7 takes modeling productivity a step further by allowing users to import point clouds that have previously been cleaned or clipped to include only the scope of work that’s intended to be modeled. This translates into lighter, easier-to-manage scan data, faster processing, and more targeted modeling.
