Auto Pair

The Auto pair function in the Resection menu allows you to automatically associate known control points directly to their corresponding targets in Collage Site projects.

Once you have a project with at least one station, known control points, and targets shot in or processed, navigate to the Resection workflow menu. You should see the Auto pair button towards the bottom right side of the panel, but it will be greyed out and not selectable:

Next, set your desired Reference Points in the Resection panel - a minimum of 2 is required but you can use as many as you would like. After at least two Reference Points are set, the Auto pair button should light up and be selectable. Tap the button to run the Auto pair routine:

Upon completion you should notice that the Target field in the Resection workflow panel should have automatically been filled in with the corresponding targets in your Collage Site project, and that the Localize Station button is now lit up and ready to use. It is always best practice to manually check that these targets have been associated correctly.
