Tag Targets

You now have the ability to utilize point cloud scan data to retroactively create targets in Collage Site. This can be a great help in many ways, but especially if you may have forgotten to shoot in a target while you were on site with your scanner. To get the workflow started, select the station that you would like to “view” and tag the targets from, then navigate to the Localize menu. Inside that menu there will be a button called Tag Targets:

Tapping that button will immediately bring you into the scanner view of your selected station, showing the captured images with the point cloud overlaid:

From here you simply need to tap the Add Target button that is in the screenshot above, and then tap a point in the point cloud where you would like to place a new target. You will then be prompted to pick a target type and name it:

Tap OK when you are done, and you will now have a new Target layer in your Collage Site project that can be used in Localization or any other related workflows:
