CR-P1 Firmware Update

This article will cover how to update the firmware on the CR-P1 scanning unit.

To begin this process, follow these steps:

  1. Open Collage Site while connected to a trusted Wifi network.
  2. Disconnect from that Wifi network and connect to your CR-P1 wifi network. Then connect to the device in Collage Site.
  3. Perform a Full Shutdown of Collage Site, then repeat step 1.

From here, you should see a series of a few pop up windows in Collage Site:



After tapping the Download button you will see a loading bar indicating the status of your download. Do not disconnect your tablet from the internet during this time or the download will be interrupted.



Once the download is completed, connect to your CR-P1 scanner again and you should see the following message:



Ensure that your CR-P1 unit is plugged in to external power and then tap the Upload button. You should see the following message:



From here, keep an eye on your tablet and the CR-P1 scanner unit’s screen for additional updates. You should see a message on the CR-P1 screen after roughly 15 minutes that reads Firmware installed successfully.
