Prism Tracking

The Prism Tracking feature for the GTL-1200 will allow you to lock onto a prism, and have it follow along with the prism automatically. This may only be used by ATP series prisms. For optimal function, use this feature at least 10 ft away from your scanning instrument. Starting this feature in the Target Measurement workflow is the most accurate way to ensure that your prism is found and locked in.

To activate this feature you will first need to tap the Prism Tracking button.

Then set the prism type and rod height with the menu that appears underneath the Prism Tracking button.

Once you have established the parameters, tap the Toggle at the bottom of the menu to activate Prism Tracking.

Once engaged, the GTL will automatically begin searching for the prism. automatically pause when you enter certain workflows. However, it will turn off entirely upon entering the Scanning workflow, and need to be toggled on again manually.

Reading the Icons

Prism Tracking is off and ready to be engaged.

Prism Tracking is searching for the prism.

Prism Tracking is engaged and locked onto the prism.

Prism Tracking has lost the actively engaged prism and is searching for the prism.

Prism Tracking is paused and will automatically resume once the current workflow has been completed.

Prism Tracking couldn’t find the prism and will disengage and stop searching.
