Set V0 Offset
This feature is only available when connected to Topcon ESN-100 scanner
The V0 offset setting is a function designed to check the accuracy of point cloud data. By executing it regularly, you can prevent the measurement accuracy from decreasing due to temperature changes and secular changes, and obtain high-quality data.
Preparation
First, install the scanner device in a stable location free of vibrations. Next, place the ATP 360 degree prism at least 20 meters away from the scanner instrument and adjust the prism height to be the almost same as the instrument height.
Steps
After completing the prism and scanner installation, connect Collage Site and the scanner. Next, create a new project and add a new station.
Then tap the Tilt button, then the Set V0 offset button. This will display the live camera image.
Adjust the camera direction and measurement range so that the prism to be measured falls within the measurement range, and tap the Measure button.
The prism will be automatically measured from the front and rear of the scanner instrument, and the V0 offset amount is calculated from the acquired scan data. When the processing is complete, a confirmation dialog for the updated V0 offset amount will be displayed.
