Unhide Dropdown

This article explains the Unhide Dropdown (split button) found in the ClearEdge3D tab.

Unhide Dropdown/Split button

This dropdown/split button contains four separate tools that all perform similar functions but for different categories. Selecting a tool from the dropdown will trigger the function of that tool and will set it as the new shown button above the dropdown arrow. Clicking that button will also trigger the tool.

Unhide All

The Unhide All button resets all visibility toggles for all point clouds and scan locations so that everything becomes visible again. This tool acts as a global visibility reset when combined with the final option, Remove Color Overrides.

Unhide Point Clouds

The Unhide Point Clouds button resets all visibility toggles for point clouds. This will not reset visibility of scan locations within those point clouds, however. If specific scan locations were hidden within any point clouds, they will continue to be hidden even after this button is pressed. If it is desired for the scan location visibility to be reset, the Unhide All or Unhide Scan Locations buttons should be used.

Unhide Scan Locations

The Unhide Scan Locations button resets all visibility toggles for scan locations. This will not reset visibility of point clouds associated with this scan locations, however. If the point clouds associated with these scan locations are still hidden, the scan locations will remain hidden even after this button is pressed. Additionally, other point clouds not associated with the selected scan location will also not become visible. If it is desired for the point cloud visibility to be reset, the Unhide All or Unhide Point Clouds buttons should be used.

Remove Color Overrides

The Remove Color Overrides button resets all color overrides applied to all point clouds and scan locations. This does not affect whether the scan locations or point clouds are hidden in the view or not. If it is desired to remove color overrides for specific point clouds or scan locations, the color override dropdowns found in the Modify Tab should be used.
