Modify Tab

This article describes the workflows available within the Modify tab that appears when a Scanner Location Marker is selected.

Working with Scanner Location Markers

The Modify tab (Generic Models for Scanner Location Markers) contains two sections in its ribbon, each providing useful visibility tools for managing point clouds and their individual scanner locations.

Point Clouds

The Point Clouds section provides tools for Isolating, Undoing an Isolation, Toggling the Visibility, and Color Overwriting the point cloud associated with the selected scanner location marker(s). These tools (except for the Undo Isolate tool) act independently of the Scan Locations section. This means it is possible to isolate specific scan locations of a point cloud then isolate the point cloud itself and those previously isolated scan locations will remain isolated if the point cloud is made visible again.

Scan Locations

The Scan Locations section provides tools for Isolating, Undoing an Isolation, Toggling the Visibility, and Color Overwriting selected scanner location(s). These tools (except for the Undo Isolate tool) act independently of the Point Clouds section.
