Scan Locations
Scan Locations
The Scan locations section tools affect the selected scanner location(s). In contrast, the Point Clouds section tools affect the entire point cloud associated with the selected Scanner Location Marker(s).

Isolate Selected
Clicking the Isolate Selected button isolates the point data of the currently selected scanner location(s). This hides the point data of any non-selected scanner location(s) within the given point cloud.
Undo Isolate
Clicking the Undo Isolate button reverts the isolation state to a non-isolated state. The Undo Isolate button is the same exact button in the Scan Locations section as it is in the Point Clouds section. Additionally, the Undo Isolate button performs the same functionality as the same named button found in the ClearEdge3D Tab. The button also exists here so you don’t need to navigate back to the ClearEdge3D tab when wanting to undo an isolation.
The Isolate Selected button does not create a “stack” of actions that the Undo Isolate button then reverts one at a time. The Revit undo button, or using (Ctrl + Z), will perform that function. The Undo Isolate button instead reverts the state before you performed a single or multiple isolation actions in a row so you don’t have to use Undo multiple times.
Toggle Visibility
Clicking the Toggle Visibility button will show or hide the selected scan location(s). The toggled visibility only affects the visibility of the scan locations and does not affect the visibility of the associated point cloud. If scan locations have been toggled to be visible, but the associated point cloud is not visible, then the scan locations will not appear in the view.
Color Override Dropdown and Scan Color
Clicking the Visibility Override Dropdown that says No Override will provide the Single Color option. When the Single Color option is selected, the Scan Color icon to the right of the dropdown will appear fully saturated. Clicking this Scan Color icon opens a dialog box where a single color for the scan location point data can be set. To revert this color change, select the dropdown and change it away from Single Color to No Override. If you have multiple scanner location marker(s) selected with different colors (or one is a single color and one is set to No Override) then the dropdown will say Varies instead.
If you would like to remove all color overrides for the entire point cloud and its respective scan locations, click the Remove Color Overrides option found in the Unhide Dropdown.
