Verity provides a bi-directional link between Analyzed items in the Verity table and their original host model element, allowing for comprehensive review and information publishing.
Although Verity Analyses are a snapshot of the model and point cloud at the time they’re completed, Verity will attempt to maintain that link despite minor changes to the host file, so that old analyses can still be reviewed and interacted with where possible.
In the case that a model element has been deleted, or modified to a degree that Verity can no longer maintain its link to the host item, a warning dialog will be displayed upon opening an affected Analysis. The Verity Item Table will display the affected element row(s) in grey, and while these elements will be clickable and can be viewed in the Verity viewer, any Host Interaction functions (linked in the sub articles below) will not be available for these items.
