Host View Control

Verity has several view control options to make it easy to review the Verity Item Table side-by-side with the host model.

Fig 1: Host View Control Options.

In Verity for Revit, checking any of the view control modes below will create and/or open 3D Coordination Views in the Revit project. If the Verity Camera Setting dropdown is set to Orthographic, a Verity3D view is opened in Revit. If set to Perspective, a Verity3DPerspective view is opened.

Auto-Zoom

Auto-Zoom will re-orient and fit the host application view to the item selected in the Verity table.

Inspection Mode

Inspection Mode will automatically make all other non-selected elements transparent so you can clearly see the selected elements.

This Mode is only available in Verity for Navisworks.

Section Box

Section Box mode will create a section box in the host view around the selected element. The size of the section box is determined by the Search Box Offset in Analysis Parameters.

Match Verity View

Match Verity View will bi-directionally match the camera angle and location between the Verity view and the active host view. If Verity is in the Split View Camera mode, the top left pane is matched and allows orbiting or panning.
