Verity for Navisworks Project Setup
This article explains how to set up Navisworks and your corresponding projects within it to properly work with Verity.
In most situations, users will be prompted to choose or create a Verity Project upon opening Verity. Outside these situations, new Projects and Analyses can be generated within Verity as well. All of these options can be found in the Verity menu.

There are three options for managing Verity projects that are linked to the currently open Host project (.rvt or .nwf):
New Project allows you to make a new, secondary project linked to the same host project.
Open Project allows you to open another Verity project that is linked to the same host project, i.e. when you’ve used the New Project button.
Save As Project allows you to save the current Verity project under a new name.
In most situations, we recommend having one Verity project to one project in your host application, but these options exist to handle any edge cases.
There are five options for managing the Analyses contained in the currently open Verity Project:
New Analysis closes the current analysis and creates a new, blank analysis within the open project.
Open Analysis allows you to open an existing analysis within the open project.
Close Analysis allows you to close the current analysis.
Rename Analysis allows you to change the name of the currently open analysis.
Copy Items to a new Analysis will copy Items and Scans from the current analysis to a new one. You can choose to copy all Items in the table or copy only the Items you’ve selected.
To change your display units, click the Display Units flyout in the ribbon. This will update all values in your analyses to your chosen display unit.
