Known Issues
Item Table Looping
With the introduction of new hotkeys X and V in addition to the existing hotkey A to change statuses and review status respectively, there is a chance of causing unintentional changes or causing Verity to lock up. If reviewing and changing items and statuses too quickly, it’s possible to cause Verity to make multiple changes to items you didn’t intend, or to have Verity end up in a rendering loop. It’s important to take at least a few seconds with each element to ensure it’s status before moving onto the next element to prevent the former. If you are in the rendering loop, selecting a different application on a different screen and going back to Verity usually resolves the issue after a few seconds should fix the latter.
DEL hotkey removes more than one element
In some rare cases, using the DEL hotkey on an element can accidentally remove multiple elements. To avoid this, it is recommended to use the Remove button in the left-hand side tool bar towards the top instead.
Measure tool red line missing
The Measure QA tool is currently not rendering its red line. The current workaround exists.
Tripod (Individual Scans) workflow assigning Installed status to elements with 0% coverage
Sometimes the analysis algorithm will unintentionally assign the Installed status to elements that have 0% coverage. We still continue to emphasize reviewing every element in an analysis.
Large Reports fail
If the geometry or point data is very complex or dense within a Verity analysis, it can sometimes prevent a user from completing a full HTML or PDF analysis and will result in RAM being exceeded. The only existing workarounds are to reduce your selection to a smaller portion of the analysis for one report, and then select the next smaller portion for the next and so on depending on the size reduction needed.
