Licensing
EdgeWise licenses will use your ClearEdge3D Account to log in and out of an active license.
If you have questions about a current license, please reach out to your Sales Rep or to Licensing@ClearEdge3D.com.
Creating a ClearEdge3D Account
After installing EdgeWise and opening the program, you will be greeted with a screen that will ask you to either login to an existing account or to Enroll in a new ClearEdge3D Account. Clicking the Enroll in ClearEdge3D Account will take you to a form to fill out that will be sent to our licensing team to create a license.

Once the license is created on our side, you will get an email invite sent to the email listed on the enroll form. Accepting this email will allow you to then set up an account by creating a password or passkey. After this process is completed and you have created your ClearEdge3D account, you may then sign in and use EdgeWise.
Sign In with an Existing ClearEdge3D Account
If you already have enrolled in a ClearEdge3D Account, you may click the Sign In with ClearEdge3D Account button.

Once the Sign In with ClearEdge3D Account button is clicked, a browser window will open, prompting you to login. You may also use a Microsoft or Autodesk login here as well.

After a successful login, you may begin using EdgeWise.
Continue Using Legacy License
If you have an older license from versions 5.9 and prior, you can continue to use this license for version 5.10. To do so, you can click the Continue Using Legacy License button. You will not need to create a ClearEdge3D Account to do this but we do recommend eventually creating a ClearEdge3D Account to use future versions of EdgeWise as legacy licenses will not work for planned versions 5.11 and newer.
Logging Out
You may log out from the EdgeWise license by navigating to the Licensing tab within EdgeWise and clicking the Logout button. If you are using a floating license, this will ensure that the license seat is cleared up so another user may log into that license seat.
