Getting Started
This article will cover how to export your EdgeWise model over to Tekla. Below you will find the workflow for the best way the EdgeWise model over to Tekla.
Exporting
EdgeWise does not currently have a .IFC file export, but there is a workaround. To get an intelligent file over into Tekla, you will have first export to Revit. Export a .c3rvt file over to Revit, then save that file, and export a .IFC file.
Is exporting an IFC file something you would really like to see in EdgeWise? Please input that information here! We do our best to keep track of how many clients request what, and keep that in mind for development.
